As much as we love talking about the city we love, strategizing about the issues that hold us back, and analyzing the data that studies have produced… Metro Smart Cities is about action.

Moving our city forward requires putting one foot in front of the other and conducting trials of our theories — all while collecting as much data as we can to help inform decisions and long-term solutions to transportation and mobility problems.

In the end, we want a city that inspires. A city that propels its residents into a prosperous future. A city that we are even more proud of tomorrow than we are today.

Metro Smart Cities was formed in 2016, and is focused on developing and implementing pilot projects so we can see if our ideas on how to solve mobility and accessibility challenges do in fact work in real life.

By utilizing data and resident experiences to drive decisions, Metro Smart Cities presents innovative and resourceful solutions to pervasive issues facing the broader transportation and mobility systems of the region.
